Terms of Service
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and NotaryLift (“NotaryLift”, “we”, “us”). They apply whenever you use notarylift.com, run an audit, or buy anything from us. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
1. What NotaryLift is
NotaryLift reviews information that is already publicly visible on a Google Business Profile and produces an informational report: a score, a list of what appears to be holding the profile back, and a suggested plan of changes you can choose to make yourself.
It is an information product. We do not manage, access, edit, or log in to your Google account, and we never ask for your Google password. Every change to your profile is made by you, in your own account, at your own discretion.
2. We are not affiliated with Google
NotaryLift is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or partnered with Google LLC in any way. Google, Google Maps and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. Any reference to Google’s published guidelines is a reference to publicly available documentation that Google may change at any time without notice to us or to you.
3. Google profile suspension — read this
Google can suspend, restrict, or remove any business profile at its sole discretion, at any time, for reasons it does not disclose. This can happen to a profile that has followed every published guideline, and it can happen for reasons entirely unrelated to anything we suggested.
You accept full and sole responsibility for every change you make to your Google Business Profile, whether or not our report suggested it. We are not liable for any suspension, restriction, removal, reinstatement effort, loss of reviews, loss of visibility, loss of business, or any cost or damage arising from it. If you are unsure whether a change is safe for your specific situation, do not make it.
Our plan sequences changes in an order intended to reduce that risk based on Google’s published guidance. That is an effort to be careful, not a guarantee, and it must not be read as one.
4. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any ranking, position, visibility, traffic, phone calls, clients, bookings, or revenue. Search rankings are controlled entirely by Google and are affected by competition, location, category, history, and factors nobody outside Google can see or influence.
Anything in our marketing, reports, or testimonials describing another person’s outcome is that person’s experience and is not a promise, projection, or typical result for you.
5. Not professional advice
NotaryLift does not provide legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and nothing in a report is advice about how to conduct notarial acts. You remain solely responsible for complying with your state’s notary laws, your commission requirements, your bonding and insurance obligations, and any advertising rules that apply to you. If a suggestion in a report would conflict with those rules, your obligations come first — do not follow the suggestion.
6. Accuracy of the audit
An audit is a snapshot of publicly available information at the moment it ran. Profiles change, Google changes what it displays, and some details cannot be verified from outside — those are marked as unverified rather than guessed at. We do not warrant that a report is complete, error-free, or current after the moment it was generated.
7. Payment and refunds
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. The product is digital and is delivered in full immediately after purchase. See our Refund Policy for the detail, including the narrow situations where we will still make things right.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars and may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
8. Your account and your report
Your purchase is for your own business. You may not resell, republish, share, sublicense, or redistribute your report, your plan, or any NotaryLift content, and you may not use it to provide a competing or derivative service to others. Access is for a single business and a single account holder; you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through it.
9. Our intellectual property
The NotaryLift name and logo, the site, the audit methodology, the scoring, the report wording, the plans, and all related content are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a report gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own business. It transfers no ownership.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit a profile or business you are not authorised to act for
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract any part of the service
- Attempt to access another user’s audit, account, or report
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to breach the security of the service
- Use the service for anything unlawful or deceptive
We may suspend or terminate access, without refund, for any breach of this section.
11. Service availability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we depend on third-party services that can fail or change without notice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim — for most customers, the price of a single report.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or loss of a Google Business Profile, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NotaryLift and anyone working with it from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, the changes you make to your own business profile or website, your content, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
14. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. The service is offered for business use, by the person responsible for the business being audited.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here is the version that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to that venue.
17. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is limited to the smallest extent necessary.
